Jeld-Wen was subcontracted to replace a casement window. Their first attempt to perform this task was to deliver, very late, a window which to the most casual glance was the wrong size. They nevertheless left this window with us for months. Too late in the season they installed another window, which was also wrong. Perhaps to conceal the fact that it opened the wrong way, their tech sealed it shut. Months passed before they could schedule a remediation, and when they did, they had lost any memory of the fact that the window opened the wrong way, so they merely forced their sealed window open, causing light damage. I won't let these bozos back in the house. Any general contractor who uses them does so at their peril. User's recommendation: Do not use this company.
