I bought a french door whirlpool refrigerator less than 4 yrs ago. I paid $402 for an extended 5 yr warranty. I assumed it was through Whirlpool. My refrigerator all of a sudden had water *** from underneath it. I called the number on my warranty and it said in small print that it was warranted thru AIG. I called the number and was on hold for an hour. Then a rep came on and told me they couldnt send a repairman out for 16 days. Earliest opening. I argued and they gave me a number to call whirlpool direct. SheTheThewhirlpool User's recommendation: She was no help and even snotty. Don’t waste your time with either company. HORRiBLE SERVICE.
