I have apartment renter's insurance with Liberty Mutual. My refrigerator stopped working twice over a weekend. I lost $225 worth of food between spoiled food and replacement food. Liberty Mutual just told me by phone that my renter's insurance does not cover my losses. Really ! So what is renter's insurance for if not to cover losses caused by appliances that you don't own not working or loss by theft or fire, etc. Am cancelling Liberty Mutual insurance in next 24 hours.
