During the pandemic , all departments of transportation are closed in Thailand. I can't get an international driver's license. So my question is, is an international driving license required if I want to rent a car from LAX and return to SFO or may be pick up and return at SFO? My trip pass California ,Nevada ,Arizona ,Utah ,Wyoming ,Montana ,Idaho I already read the FAQ from the car rental company but my friend who rented a car from LAX last two week he said the officer asked for an international driver's license. So I'm confused about the rules of car rental. thank you
