Carrier did not honor their warranty

We bought a high end Infinity ac about 8 years ago, but the control box went out and had to be replaced. It came with a 10 year warranty. In short, they refused to honor their warranty after they made me jump through hoops to satisfy their demands for documentation. It cost us $900+. User's recommendation: Don't buy Carrier!
