Time airline said for a refund to be processed.

Japan Airlines canceled the first leg of my flight. I was given the option of complete cancellation. I was entitled to a refund. I contacted my booking agency (Expedia). They confirmed my cancellation and the amount of the refund. I was told the refund would come from Japan Airlines and take 8-12 weeks. Japan Airlines was able to take my money by credit card electronically. I phoned Japan Airlines to ask, "Why a refund would take 8-12 weeks? The refund would be done electronically?" Their representative kept reading the policy processor. I never got anwere. fromhe airline's refund. T. User's recommendation: Ask about refund before booking any flights with any airlines.
