Work schedule variance. 1st week.

2

I was told by Appleone in my work week on Monday by email that I would work the following day through Friday. In other words, Tuesday- Friday for that week. At the close of the work day on Thursday I was told, others too in the Tuesday-Friday group, that no work was available for us on Friday. I contacted Lauren Carrillo, left a voicemail and email, but received no response. I contacted a Human Resource Director and informed her I did not hear from Lauren and let my feelings known. She seemed to make excuses for the client, letting me know things can change in an instant. She did listen, so I give her credit for that, but did not seem to be as concerned on how this may have hurt the workers they hired, as we all lost a day's pay. Called Department of Labor and found out it was perfectly legal for Appleone to do what they did. User's recommendation: Appleone lack of response and compassion for workers bothers me.
