Waiting, in anaflactic shock
1
I came in with head to to hives, red splotches, and swollen mouth tongue and throat. I was still able to breathe and talk with some difficulty. The attendant in the waiting room was very cold and made no effort to hurry due to my time sensitive condition. Overall, it took a full hour before I was given any medication to stop the reaction. I was very very displeased with the service. While the rest of the staff was nice and accommodating, I fully expected them to be in some sort of rush considering that I was in danger of having my airway obstructed.
