Use a checking to set up recurring payments

1

PGE is a horrible company. I set up recurring to save on paying a deposit. I did everything they said to do. I made my first payment on time. I get an email later telling me to set up paperless billing. I did that already when I signed up for recurring billing. That was one of the requirements. Today I get an email telling me that since I set up recurring billing using my debit card, that it did not satisfy the arrangement they laid out. But if you go to their site, under the recurring payment page, it shows checking, saving, credit/debit card. So why are they telling their customers that they cannot use credit/debit cards to set up recurring payments? They should probably remove that from their page or they will get cussed by someone else. I hope they call me because I got some things to get off my chest.
