Underpaid – Blacklisted – Charging fees but not providing service!
1
*** Charging fees & not providing services: 7/20/18 Paid $57 (it was discounted from original fee of $114+) for a Pro Account with National Event Staffing deducted from one of my paychecks with them. *** Potentially blacklisted after questioning underpayment: Since approx. February 2019 I have had limited access to login to my account on their website to submit to jobs I am still receiving emails for because the agency potentially blacklisted me because I caught them shorting my paycheck/asked them to pay me what I was rightfully owed. When I tried to login it would say "account temporarily deactivated/invalid login/password". When I emailed the agency to fix this they replied to the email sent two months before about being underpaid - clearly saying "rest assured you will not be charged again for a Pro Account, your billing is cancelled with us, your card details removed." even though I was just asking for my login to be fixed! ***Shorting paychecks/underpaying hard-working staff/breaching email contracts: I had confirmed a pay rate of $20 per hour to work an event. When I received my paycheck it was underpaid. When I contacted the agency via email to fix they were very unprofessional and went back & forth saying only Team Leads get $20/hour not a Brand Ambassador (even though I had TWO emails asking & confirming the rate to me for my position was indeed $20/hour). The hardest working event I have ever done and cheapest pay and then the agency tries to underpay me & go back & forth UNPROFESSIONALLY to scam me of my hard earned money. They finally paid what I was rightfully due but then DEACTIVATED MY LOGIN/ACCOUNT on their website. So if you catch them keeping your hard earned money they potentially blacklist you? When I emailed the agency to fix my login they replied "rest assured you will not be charged again for a Pro Account, your billing is cancelled with us, your card details removed." *** I paid for a PRO account for 1 year 7/20/18 TO 7/20/19. As of approx. Feb - April 2019 I have not had access to login and apply for work. They blocked/deactivated my account = fraudulently keeping my fee and not providing services promised. I'M PRETTY SURE THIS IS AGAINST THE LAW? And I should be entitled to a refund for charging for services not provided. Not to mention the PRO ACCOUNT is a joke/does not get you more or faster bookings as promised. POTENTIAL SCAM in many ways & very unprofessional agency! I want a refund of the PRO ACCOUNT fee.
