They rejected their responsibility for incorrect info posted on the website
I signed up for The Motley Fool via the United MP Shopping website and at that time, there was a promotion that offered bonus miles on a new paid subscription regardless of the monthly or annual billing options. One month later, they changed the terms to only offer bonus miles to the annual billing option. When I contacted them, requesting the bonus miles be credited to my account, they said sometimes information on the website was not up to date. To me it was a very irresponsible answer. They must honor the offer as indicated in terms and conditions for the old promotion simply because that was their fault for not timely updating their website, not the customer's fault. I would never use MP Shopping again. I've started seeing their bonus miles offers as scams.
