After banking with my local bank in NM, First National Bank, for 30 years they were bought by Sunflower. From day one the service went downhill. They lost any personal banking relationship, and would never call like they used to when my checking account was low. They their lending arm, guardian, became predatory, paying for things without my permission, and then CHARGING me interest for doing so and extending my loan period when it was one payment from being paid off! The NM Attorney Generals office had to get them to return my money. During this COVID pandemic, when my home equity line expired, rather than going by the secondary financing agreement, they TOOK all my money from my accounts, even to the point of cashing a ROTH IRA that was in my SONS NAME! I was working with them to refinance, and they knew it but decided to take everything during a time I could not even ENTER a branch to discuss it. They are a corrupt, predatory, worthless and borderline criminal organization with HORRIBLE service. All of the people who ran branches and gave great service for 30 years QUIT due to their horrible policies. NEVER bank with this *** bank. We switched to Enterprise and State Employees credit union and could not be happier. My wife and I are filing complaints with the AG office, FDIC and all other regulatory agencies due to this awful BS. User's recommendation: STAY AWAY from this worthless bank!
