I have been with Net10 for a good 3 or 4 years. Just recently I had bought a new phone from Net10WirelessPhones.com, where they sell unlocked GSM phones, so I could use the bring your own phone program Net10 has to offer. Every now and then I would experience slow data even though I had renewed my monthly plan, but just last week I had renewed my monthly plan and I was unable to use the internet (Mobile Network State: Disconnected). So I was like no big deal I'll just call up there and they'll turn something on and I'll be fine. This did not happen. I ended up calling multiple times in which they made me create a new APN setting every time, and I probably wasn't doing it right because I could barely hear what was being read out to me on the other end due to strong accents. I swear at one point I thought I heard one of the guys I was on the phone with say "let me do some technical STUFF." I even got on the online chat where I was told to make another APN. None of it worked, so finally I was sent a free SIM card to put in my phone. After I put that thing into my phone I could no longer make calls, text, or get on the internet which was worse than before. Then the lady made me do a factory reset on my device, and it still didn't do anything but swipe all my music and pictures and contacts off. But still my network state was disconnected. It wasn't worth it at, so now I am a Cricket customer, With a Cricket SIM Card, with a mobile network state that says "connected'. Oh, and by the way I lost $50 because they refused to give me my money back on service I didn't even get to use properly.
