The worst customer service imaginable

I honestly don't understand how companies with service this bad survive. I've been online for 24 years professionally and personally. I own numerous websites and blogs and have tried them all. Well, almost all of them. No one even comes close to the horrible experiences, not experience, experiences, I have had with HostGator. GoDaddy, although not perfect, is 100 times better than this company. And if GoDaddy ever makes a mistake, they fix it and compensate you for the inconvenience. The compensation I'm getting from HostGator is we are working on it, we can not tell you how long it will take, we can not tell you why we blocked your site as opposed to calling you to inform you there was an issue. Please allow up to 3 days for us to fix the problem we created for you. Not so much as an appology. And don't even think about transfering your URL somewhere else. They hold you captive FOREVER. I literally could go into minute details but I've made my point. As a professional site designer, developer and builder, I recommend virtually anyone other than this company. They are beyond the worst. They are in a category all their own. Horrible beyond belief.
