Tampa RV One didn’t keep to the warranty
1
I purchased my 2017 Precept 31UL on August 2016 with a two year warranty. In August 2018 while in the last month of coverage I contacted RV One, Tampa RV and told the service manager I had a torn slide out awning that needed repair. First they told me it wasn't covered due to user error, but since they never looked at it that would be difficult to determine. Then they said it was out of warranty, which it was not, then they said it was not their problem. Basically if I wanted it fixed I could go to arbitration and settle it. It's a $1200 repair so I figure they just don't want to do it, it's just not something I can take in and them fix it, they would need to order the awning from the maker and then install it. So now I've had to contact an attorney to come with me to address this issue. I will never purchase another RV from them or the new company, NIRVC, that purchased them. I paid cash for my RV and service for the most part has been good, but then again it was stuff they could do.
