Taking advantage of my ignorance in car
1
I bought my car in July 2018 in AutoTrade Southwest, located in Berkeley, UK. They recommended me to get Gold Standard Warranty that will cover for motor and electronics for 15th months. I trusted in them so I got this warranty. By November the car broke down and I contacted Liam from Warranties 2000. He suggested me to contact the local garage and that the will speak to the garage directly. My garage said that Warranties 2000 didn't cover for any of the repairs even though the parts damaged were specifically covered by Gold Standard document sent to me. The warranties 2000 (Liam) denies having had this communication from my local Garage, saying that only one of the part damaged (funny enought the only one not covered) was communicated to him. Even though all calls are recorded he has offered no evidence, nor help in resolving this matter. My garage has told me that Warranties 2000 have told them that they won't pay for any repairs made in my car. What is the point of getting a warranty then? Pure scam. Utterly disappointed and angry with this situation. So here I am
