I'm a native-born northern Californian who moved to Texas (ugh) to get married...and one of my "old local" favorites are Mother's Cookies. I buy them occasionally but must confess that I was most disappointed in my recent purchase at Kroger...bag was printed "Taffy" but the image of the elongated "English Tea Snacks" and indeed, the Taffy Creams instead were "English Tea Snacks." What a huge disappointment...especially when your website indicates taffy sandwiches are still produced as I remember. PLEASE tell me this is a fluke and that you have not transposed your original Taffy Creams into the boring, tasteless English Tea Snacks. THANK YOU!
