Substandard Product

Purchased a Carrier heat pump about three years ago. Unit started leaking about a month ago.called company that installed unit. A C tech . Said it was a faulty coil, and it's rear that a coil leaks in a fairly new unit. Called Carrier customer service. ,waste of time. They don't back up their product, or care. It cost $1200, to repair. Being retired this is a fortune. Don't buy Carrier, as it is not a quality product. Research products before you buy, read reviews. A neighbor of mine said they had a similar situation with a Train unit and train paid 75% of labor. Guess nothing stops a Train.I'm hoping my review will help others in the future. Carrier did not resolve my issue, just made it worse. Guess the label proudly made in the USA doesn't mean anything anymore.
