This is for a rental recently at Reykejavik, iceland with green motion. July 2018. Booked car online with insurance option (Alliance for 60 euro) (holidayauto.com). At the counter I was told by green motion agent that insurance I purchased online is not valid and I have to either deposit 2000 euro up front or buy insurance through them(299 euro) for 7 days. It leaves me little choice after a long flight and pre-paid rental fee that can't be refund. Ruined my vacation first day I get to Iceland.
