Don’t ever do a loan through Robert with Shea in Reunion or preferably don’t deal with Shea Homes at all! Robert runs your info through an automated system that you could run on the lending-tree website to find out if you’re pre-approved. Also, They will take your earnest money and then ask for impossible to get pre-approval letters from your underwriters if you have a third party lender, basically making you in breach of contract! They’re thieves!!! Someone close to me is still dealing with them now and they keep asking for more money down and not approving the lender letter. They want a “Pre-Authorization” from an underwriter that has a guaranteed approval with zero contingencies. FYI THOSE DONT EXIST. You’re not fully approved without contingency until after escrow.. lol
