Scheduling employees in Call Center Hate customers

We spent a lot of money deciding to choose quality over junk; What I didn’t know was that the Call Center Rep’s are so in happy, uncaring and miserable. Every time I called in to schedule my delivery of items I was treated horribly with a very dreadful unhappy person who sounded like they would rather be dead than talk to a customer. Even with an upbeat customer on the other end these employees clearly have bad moral and hate their jobs. They act as is it’s a burden to ask a question about your order, and how dare you not have an order number even though they can look it up by phone number and address. That is just too much work for them and they will refuse to do it and of coarse you need to call back and get someone who can look it up and oh boy you will know by the tone of their voice that they hate their job and are being inconvenienced by your call. I had to schedule 3 large and expensive items for delivery and not one time did I ever get anyone that sounded happy, caring, understanding or helpful. It was the worst service and most dreadful I have ever received. Seems moral is beyond control in the center. I think it’s time to move to an online customer scheduling system and just wipe out the unappreciative employees who don’t realize that we are the reason they have jobs in the first place. I hate to say it but Walmart looks like company of the year compared to Pottery Barns Service. So sad that we pay more for service but that is in the least what we receive. Sad to say they can keep their negativity to themselves. I will be sticking with Restoration Hardware for my future Home designing needs.
