Sales tactics

We received a call from a sales rep about their camping resorts. I told the rep who was very nice that we had gone to another one of their resorts about 5 years ago and were not impressed and had a terrible experience. She said not an issue due to the time in between. We set up camping date and to listen to their 90 minute presentation again as this was not the same campground. We were told this place was better and the other location had been redone to make it better. I was transferred to a supervisor who asked me questions to verify what the agent said. I explained to him that we had been to the other resort about 5 years ago and were looking forward to seeing this new location and asked if my Daughter and son in law could join us as they guy bought a new rig. Again no issues so I gave them My CC number. Today I received a call that my reservation was canceled because I had heard their presentation 5 years ago at another one of their resorts. I explained our situation and was told their rules. I was canceled. Told them I thought this may be the time we buy as it was closer to our home and my daughter and son in law were interested if we were. We had planned, if the site was better than the other one “ called my son in law told him not to go. Called my son to cancel his visit as well. Who knows, they could have sold all three of us but no they did not care and were not willing to make an exception
