Since around January of 2018 I have been getting unsolicited calls from Safeguard utilizing caller id spoofing. I would get calls from "familiar numbers" close to my cell number. Then would be transferred overseas to someone with very bad english. Next they would ask me questions about what kind of cars I drive. They called me they should know these details. Usually call would end with a hang up and they would refuse to answer any business questions about who they were. Finally after about 100 calls throughout the year and constantly 5-6 a day the last two months. I created a fake car a 2010 Chevy Camaro and proceeded to give the *** on the other end of the call the fake car information. I had him on the phone for almost two hours much to my delight. After saying yes to the $6000 or whatever cost it was to have the fake warranty I end up saying no and then the guy proceeds to whine like a baby saying I wasted his "valuable time". Hahahah. Fast forward two weeks later I get a call again and this time it is not a fake number but a 855 toll free number. I was busy at work so don't answer but call when I'm on the train. I called the number 855494****, which is Safeguard. Someone picks up and asks me if I'm calling about the 2010 Camaro. I say yes and know immediately it is the same company I gave the fake car information too, because no one else would know I have a fake Camaro. Bingo. I then try to inquire about the whole situation and am met with a lot of bullying and rude behavior. They also refuse to take your number off their contact list even if you go through their call trees to get people that work in other departments. It's ok, I have plenty of time to keep calling them while I'm on the train going to and coming from work. They won't stop contacting me I won't stop contacting them.
