Ripped Off and Scammed by a KofC “friend”

1

A "friend" (who sells KofC life insurance convinced me to enroll in a policy. I made regular payments and the cash value grew to nearly $10,000. When I became unemployed, I advised "my friend" that I could no longer make the payments. Not wanting to lose my business (and risk losing his club trip prospects) he talked me into using the accrued value of the policy (approximately $10,000) to continue to make the policy payments. When that ran out, he cut me a check for $1,000. I might as well have flushed that money down the toilet. I can't believe I trusted him. I was used to help him meet his sales numbers and make his club trip. Buyer beware!
