Update by user Aug 14, 2019 after review was posted ECM contacted me and offered me $300 toward the new dishwasher as a means of amicably resolving matter. I am accepting their proposal and so the matter is now fully and amicably resolved. Thank you. Original review posted by user Jul 25, 2019 i have been a customer of east coast mechanical for over ten years and paid my premiums on time. This is the first instance a replacement was needed. Briefly summarizing, my dishwasher was not working properly. East Coast sent a technician to try and repair it. I paid a $30. co-pay for my share of the repair. The repair did not work. East Coast stated they could not repair the dishwasher and that I needed a new one. They refused to pay for one or even anything toward one despite their 'repair or replacement' contract with me. I had to pay $700 for a new dishwasher. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). East Coast advised BBB they would refund my $30. copay and refused to do anything further so I am still out the $700. cost of a new dishwasher. EAST COAST STINKS.
