Update by user Jan 25, 2020 Because of long drawn out process to send the product back and wait for repairot refund approval . Some repair was carried out . Will never buy furniture online again. Safer to buy local. Original review posted by user Jul 26, 2019 Pepperfry claims stringent QC and predelivery check which is laughable . I ordered one Royal Oak King Size Opera Sheesham bed which was delivered before time today in Bangalore. The plywood sheets sent along with bed was WARPED and CHIPPED at sides. The carpenter who came to assemble could not screw fix it to frame due to warping. And the centre support stand is of uneven height which exacerbated the whole issue. Raised request to replace plywood or refund amount. I can understand certain. Issues but what fails me totally is how on earth can such visible defective piece allowed to ship , if they actually have any QC as claimed. Such well funded startup has no quality check whatsoever surprised me no end. Never buying furniture online again. Even OLX might give you a better deal. I have shared pictures of the product which looks like I was sold some used or moisture damaged old stock.
