Resolved: My Perfect Resume is Shady

1

Update by user Aug 04, 2019 I reported the charge to my bank, Wells Fargo, they investigated, and my payment was refunded within 15 minutes by Wells Fargo, as stated in my original post. Original review posted by user Jul 05, 2019 I signed up for My Perfect Resume (MPR) to help my 16-year-old son put together a resume for a summer job. I paid the $2.95 and IMMEDIATELY canceled the subscription through the website. Then I saw a pending charge to my account from MPR for $24.95 and sent them an email telling them to cancel the account and refund the charge. Today the charge went through so I called the company. The woman said they never received a cancelation and the best they could do was cancel my account as of today and refund half of the $24.95. I filed a dispute with my bank and within 15 minutes, my bank responded that the charge was an error and my $24.95 would be refunded. The actual Resume template was fine and had helpful suggestions, but they are dishonest about pricing.
