Refuse to Honour Warranty

My TV developed an internal thermal crack; a manufacturer defect. Curtis continues to respond to my emails with the same template answer. They insist that there was physical damage to the unit, but this is not the case. I suggested that we a local technician of their choosing inspect the unit; they refused. They are suggesting that I contact my credit card company for coverage, which I think is unethical -- this is their unit and their warranty. They do not respond to direct questions, they will not escalate the situation. I just keep getting the same responses. They are an absolute scam.
