Refusal to issue a refund due to pandemic

I booked this vacation in October of 2019, pre-pandemic. Since COVID-19 I have tried to cancel my vacation however the vacation travel club refuses as the resort is open. Florida hit the 4th record day of deaths and the CDC says if your travel is not essential to stay home yet the travel club says "we are open" Their customer service is horrific User's recommendation: never use this company.
