On March 25, 2019 I had ordered a Forest River Wildwood sofa, 68" Trifold, Ombre Seal: WO# 132741 (Customer name:3135007 - Olea, Cydney)for my new RV to replace jackklnife sofa that came with RV. The request was at the Camping World, Statesville NC. I spoke with Matthew in parts. He had asked for VIN, to make sure the correct sofa was on order for our model. He said it was in stock and supposedly ordered. After 2 weeks, I went into the Camping World facility and was told that Matthew wasnt the right person to speak with regarding furinture orders and was then referred to Travis in Service. Travis picked up the ball and ordered from Forest River the sofa, which was now not in stock, and apologized for the confusion and delays and offered to waive the cost of shipment, which I was very grateful of. Received a call on April 29th that the sofa had arrived and ready for pick up. I picked up the sofa and was given a freight charge bill! When I reminded Travis that he had offered to waive the fee, he completly disputed and said he couldn't remember conversation. I paid $277.28 and left furiously. I've done a lot of buisness with Camping World and will now take my business elsewhere. I do not appreciate being lied to especially with such a long wait from the order first being placed on 3/25/19 and receiving on 4/29/19. We have had to cancel 2 trips due to this circumstance.
