Power was out due to bad storms

Power was out for a week due to bad storms in south texas. Power outtages blew out GFI's, breakers and had to have the smart meter replaced so I was out of town and didn't go back to the house for about 2 weeks. Missed my payment date by one day and the charges MY GOD, went from $92 to over $500, including a deposit, and so many ridiculous fees I couldn't keep track. And when I called, I got some mindless, script reading monkey that just incessantly apologized, it was infuriating. So basically if bad weather blows up your house, you experience a hurricane or tornado, better pay your bill!!!!
