PLEASE DO NOT BUY A GENERAC home system generator. I have been trying to talk to a tech support person. Every time that I get a new number to call, it goes right back to customer service. Generac does not know what customer is. My generator has not been reliable since DAY 1 ! I have had different service companies check out my generator and all have said that it is good. The problem is once they leave, the weekly exercise run shuts down with an overspeed error. When I do lose power the generator , 90% of the time, FAILS to operate! SAVE your money, go and buy a Chinese unit, you will save money and it will run long after you ditch the Generac. User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY GENERAC PROCTS.
