Phone and other devices stopped receiving email, other devices in same house are receiving email. Verison wants $5.00 from me to fix THEIR malfunction!

2 hours attempting to talk to technical support to no avail. Can not receive emails on my phone, tablet and desk top. Other family member with similar devices receiving emails. Could not get to talk to a human without giving Verizon $5 for a trail membership in a support program to fix their problem. Wow! User's recommendation: AT&T?
