I was referred to Dr. Pop-Moody in December 2018 and had my first appointment in January of 2019. Dr. Pop-Moody came in for about 6-7 minutes and I was left with a NP. In my paperwork I informed them that I have a compromised immune system due to cancer and that I also have eye disease. I just asked for something for the inflammation and pain; however, they insisted on putting me on Methotrexate. After about 3 days, I contracted an Upper Respiratory Infection and had to get off the drugs. Four weeks later when I was cleared up, I went back and they put me on Plaquanil, which can cause eye disease. I'm already blind in one eye and trying to save the other. After about 3-4 days on this poison, I ended up in the ER with pneumonia and a bacterial blood infection. I'm still in pain but on the road to recovery with the rest. Believe me when I say these people are not interested in your health, they are just interested in how much money they can make off you between their office and their pharmacy. I will not go back and I will try my best to steer people away from this supposed Dr. A true doctor cares about you and actually spends time with you in order to work with ALL your medical issues.
