National grid installing gas lines in residential neighborhood with no prior notification to residents in neighborhood of work and health HAZARD to gas line. A gas line installation is being done 6/7/18 on Oakley street in Massapequa, NY 11758. The residents of this block were NOT notified of work being done and there was NO prior posting of work being done. The work poses Health and Safety disturbance to community and SAFETY HAZARDS to CHILDREN in community. Multiple calls were made to National Grid 877-696-4743 with no resolution to problem. National grid is BULLYING the residents in this community by installing gas lines that are not as OSHA guidelines. This a DISGRACE to such a large company and residents in the community are VOICELESS because of this BULLY company. This needs to STOP. Residents should be notified of work being done in the community and the actual or potential HAZARD of the work.
