No forward gear srx sidewinder

1

In 2015 I picked up a sr viper spring order sled on my first ride out the machine would not idol .i had a rough day with the machine with a bad idol reverse could not be used the machine would stall out .stopping at road crossing also became a problem this started one hour into the trip this cut the trip short luckily this run was not a over night trip it messed up the ride for my buds the day was cut short my sled could not be trusted.the dealer had my sled for two weeks finally after doing a gas check found the gas to be filthy dirt in the gas tank .the next time out on the second day of a four day run my sled started to act up once again while moving the sled would lose power than regain power once again back to the dealer this time it was a quick fix a wire lose causing the surge in power.once again my trip shortened.i managed to put on 2500Ks that year.2016-**** season the sled was good 2017-**** season my sled my second trip of a four day run the first day I lost my forward gear trip ruined once again .the dealer found that the chain case had some broken plastic tips on the end of the forks witch move the forward reverse gear in and out causing the gear to slip out while in travel filing off the teeth on the gear. With no gears available the dealer cleaned up the gear replaced the fork plastic tips and sent me on my way.the next trip one hour later back to square one the gear did not hold up back to the dealer with gears back ordered till April the dealer took a gear from a sled in the shop .Will guess what with very little faith in the sled I was disappointed once again this time I was on my annual 1st of March week long trip with my son and eight other guys.down again the first day.i decided to continue on the trip following the guys in my truck my sledding over the years has been with friends who enjoy the trips and laughter going home meant messing up my sons week off witch I am lucky to spend the time with him on something we love to do.being upset with Yamaha I was very close to switching brands sense my exciter days in 1976 I have been aYamaha guy owning 7 different models .checking out the 2019 Yamaha models the SRX Sidewinder got my eye after watching some videos and owning a SRX triple triple in 2002 I loved that sled and witch I had it still today how ever I still have a 1997 V max 700 witch I am rebuilding. So back to the 2019 SRX I spring order it apsulutly loved it 3700Ks the first year faith in Yamaha seemed to be restored 3700ks where with the same belt impressive right considering the 2015 had belt problems as well .2020 a trip in to Quebec and 200ks later for a total of 3900Ks my sled is once again at the dealer with guess what (gear problems again) I totally disappointed in Yamaha that they would continue to push a product with sure problems.recalls are made on machine that create (potential death problems.)I can only imagine what Fear there would be if the gear failure happened while crossing a busy road.too who ever takes the time to read this I hope you understand my frustration I have experience in the last four years.Yamaha wants us to fill in surveys on sales and service but they never ever contact or offer any type of compensation for time lost . All warranty claims go to the Yamaha Canada so they know who we are.PS I am retired and snowmobiling is my winter passion all of my older machines witch I bought used except for my 1976 exciter witch I bought new when I was 16 years old never spoiled my time or my friends time I ran my own business for years and I understand things can go wrong but this has been ridiculous.
