No Communication and No Refund

Ace Auto Transport LLC won the bid on a shipping site to ship my 1967 Olds Toronado from Dallas to El Paso, TX. Within a few days I was given a pick up and drop off window. A tentative time frame. First allow me to say customer service remained somewhat professional, and says the right words (mostly) but does not respond to outreach if at all in a timely manner. Was never given carrier information. On day of pick up, my contact waited for 7 hours at location. Carrier did not show. I called, e-mailed, and texted Ace Auto with no response from dispatch. I decided to try the Sales Dept. They picked up, and e-mailed the carrier information finally. The carrier stated the truck was disabled and would pick up the next day. I accepted this. Next day, carrier once again broke down. I suggested a new carrier be assigned. Ace Auto stated they would reassign, and I waited for the reassignment for several days. Finally, I was told the vehicle would be picked up the next Monday. I did not contact Ace Auto until Sunday night. With no schedule sent all weekend, with a carrier and time for pick up, I canceled my shipment. Ace Auto stated after the fact, that a carrier was indeed picking up on Monday, but with no information prior to, it's hardly enough time for me to coordinate for pick up. I was told I would be refunded the reservation fee. Was not refunded in the window of time promised and still have no received refund. Nor has the company responded to correspondence asking for proof of refund transaction. All review and feedback provided on experience has been met by company with excuses and will consistently blame customer.
