I am a homeowner at my current residence of 14 years. The property next door to me is rented by americanhomes4rent. I have nothing against people who rent a home. There's several circumstances where people and families are not able to own a home. I get that. This is not my complaint. I'm just wondering what type of requirements people need to apply with in order to be able to rent a home with American homes for rent in a neighborhood with families. I am guessing the standard is pretty low. I have called American homes for rent customer service and the local management office offices several times on the neighbors living next door to me. When I am in my home with the television in my family room and I hear bass through the walls and my walls shaking for hours at a time and nothing is done... when I call americanhomes4rent customer service and local offices when there is suspicious activity at night throughout all hours of the night and nothing is done... Furniture is scattered and blown over in the backyard for months at a time... Garbage can remains full with garbage overflowing at weeks at a time... I supposed after calling the local authorities with a noise ordinance at a certain time and nothing can be done I should just sit quietly and let people live how they want to live. I suppose that I should be told that I'm just a nosey neighbor and I should get on with my life. But when it affects my family and the safety of my family I get frustrated and angry. I've actually been an adult and walked over to the neighbors to ask them to turn down their music at different times. They've complied. But how many times do I need to do this before something is done? I guess americanhomes4rent just needs to listen to me vent and get out my frustrations. I have been told it's just not a very nice neighborly thing to do and they should be more considerate of my family and me. I guess all American Homes 4 rent worries about is the almighty dollar. For those of you who own a home or actually just live in a nice area and want your family to have a nice life stay away from American Homes. fight them with all your might to stay out of your neighborhoods. I suppose some would say to me live in a neighborhood with a homeowners association that doesn't allow a rental companies. I'm just wondering why I can no longer live in my home without getting upset over loud music playing all day trash phone over. I keep up my home because I want to live in a nice area, be presentable and be respectful of my neighbors it is a common courtesy. I would like American Homes to deal with their tenants who don't
