On Sept 2nd, while all was preparing to evacuate for hurricane Dorian, myself 57 and half homeless with all my clothes in a Tahoe that someone was good enough to let me borrow went to NTB Summerville SC. for an oil change and FREE tire rotation. When I got there I spoke with someone at the intake desk. I told him that I had steel belt coming through my Lt front tire and that I wanted oil change and the rear tires put on the front. I even went outside with him and showed him the tire. I also showed him I had all my clothes and belongings in the vehicle as I was ready to evacuate. I also told him I had no money to fix anything else. He told me it would be a 2 hour wait. So I waited until they came and got me and told me that they did the oil change but could not rotate the tires because the steel belt was showing on that same Lt. front tire that I went out and showed to the guy who initially waited on me. Now If NTB would do this to a 57 year old half homeless evacuee, imagine what they would do to you, your wife or your mother. This company has no integrity and does not deserve any christians business. The oil change could have waited, I know the tire was bad, it was made that way by the front end of vehicle. Leaving it and me broke and stranded awaiting this hurricane. I asked why they didn’t tell me that in the beginning and was told that they wasn’t the one who waited on me initially. It would not have been end of the world if I didn’t get the oil change. Now I don’t have enough to buy a tire!! Don’t do business with this company!! If they halve to be dishonest and cheat a guy who is half homeless, living out of borrowed Tahoe!!!
