Nasty manager, poor customer service

I made a reservation for the weekend of October 18-20, 2019, and had to cancel at the last minute on the 18. I called back to cancel the oct 19 reservation also at 11:00pm that evening and the lady told me that it had not processed and it was fine it was canceled. My card was billed 80.00 for the stay on oct 19. I called the manager, her name was Jewel, her tone was rude and said that there was no evidence of me calling and I was considered a no show. I tried to explain that I spoke with a lady at the front desk, Jewel stated that I was still a no show. She never indicated that she would speak with the lady I talked to at all, and became rude like I was aggravating her. I’m a business man and I own several major companies. I am not use to this type of response. I am fine with paying the money, but I wish she would have had better customer service towards me, instead of automatically thinking and conveying that I was just trying to get out of paying. I will not patronize them ever again.
