My fiance and I are extremely disappointed in our first meal (and last) from Nakama sushi in Bellport, NY. To be fair, we can't say everything is terrible, but the sushi we ordered was. First, we couldn't even eat our Miso soup because it was so watered down. Second, we had to open tiny packets of soy sauce which was a MESS! We ordered Nakamas special Gyoza appetizer which had no flavor or color. Then we open our sushi for two, to find poor cut sushi and sashimi, rolls which only tasted of cucumber and all but one fell apart. The rolls had hardly any fish and were only small maki rolls...very disappointing for the price that we paid for our meal. People are saying this is the best and I feel bad for them. Try some other places around the area and you will most likely change your mind about saying that.
