Moss & Company is not a tenant friendly landlord. We've had issues ranging from terrible neighbors which Moss never assisted us with to apathetic on-site Managers. We've written letters, sent pictures of the unkept common areas only to find that Moss and Company claimed they never received any of the correspondence. Repairs are not typically done on time. Most recently, the company just forgot to have our maintenance person come out to make repairs after we requested them 2 weeks ago. They allow excessive noise from other tenants in the common areas including screaming children on a daily basis. In addition, we were not informed ahead of time that there would be on-site drilling and hammering in an adjacent apartment at 8 a.m. on a Saturday morning. I complained to the on-site manager and he knew ahead of time and didn't inform any of the tenants. In addition to that, we did not know we would be paying water and trash utilities that are determined on some sort of averaged scale across the entire apartment complex. We are actually paying for common water that is used. We pay 43.00 a month for water and trash in addition to a gas bill and an electric bill. It's excessive. They will raise your rent at every opportunity they can and it's very difficult to get anyone to return your phone call from their offices. Stay away from Moss and Companies properties.
