The problem we see with owning in this club is that the maintenance fees have to be paid yearly, they do not allow you to spread the payments out. My wife and I are both retired and on a set income and this, it is not manageable for us. We did not think about that almost 30 years ago when we bought it. We also do not feel you get the value out of it they describe. It is hard to use. Rci never has anything available the times we want to use it. So that benefit is worthless. Also, you have to book so far in advance that makes it difficult to use as well. This is not streamlined and it seems they oversell it and do not have enough units to manage all the people trying to get in. That devalues this immensely. So the 35,000 or so we have invested in this. We could have traveled the world the same about of times we have vacationed for much cheaper then the local vacations this company has provided for us. We do not feel it is fair to keep us in this contract when we do not have control of usage or how high the fees go up and the only option is sale or die with it hanging over your head. This is not fair for retirees. We can not keep up with the ever-growing fees. User's recommendation: Do not purchase a membership here.
