I started going to Medical Associates of North Georgia when I moved to Jasper, Ga. They claimed they were all about "Hometown Care". They were... needless to say, things have changed. They simply have stopped caring about their patients trying to get them in and out as quickly as possible. So much for "Hometown Care". I was in a sever car accident in which I had to be life flighted to the hospital. I went to Medical Associates afterward complaining of pain in my left shoulder which continued to get worse, eventually traveling all the way from my shoulder down to my left foot making it numb. Believe me, I'd LOVE to get surgery and be done with it. But I don't have insurance. After dealing with a pain management doctor, a physical therapist as well as my general practitioner telling me that nothing is wrong with me according to my MRI (which I found out from my boyfriend's surgeon that the MRI wasn't even OF my shoulder) they refuse to give me any pain medication which is the only thing that will help me in the least bit. I've never in my life abused it or taken more than prescribed. Medical Associates staff has become rude, uncaring, and unprofessional. What a let down...
