Jungle Cruise Isn’t Vegan

I just visited Disneyland a few days ago for my honeymoon. When I was waiting in line for the Jungle Cruise ride, a duck was swimming in the loading area and got hit by a boat. It looked like its neck was broken, and it was flopping around upside down in the water. The workers watched it struggle and did nothing to help it, or even get it out of view of the many children watching. It was very strange to me that the workers seemed to be waiting for it to drown before scooping it out of the water. It made my husband and I sick to our stomachs. We had to get out of line because we couldn’t stand to watch it struggle for life. There’s clearly a design flaw on this ride. The loading area is closed in by two walls, so if a duck swims in there, it can’t get out fast enough to avoid oncoming boats. This probably happens a lot, and I don’t ever want to see it again, so I won’t be going on this ride.
