I have had a ear problem for over a month. I have seen my primary care doctor you told me I needed to see a specialist for my ear. I have had this issue for over a month an still can not get anyone that can tell me what is going on. Mind you I still have not seen the specialist I have an appointment on the 26th of March. It appeared that I wasn't going to be able to get an appointment until April. I called someone about the time table in getting an appointment They were able to get me one for a month earlier (March). mind you this all start back in February. I have talked to consulting nurse's several times but there doesn't appear to be anything they can do over the phone but tell you to go to urgent care. Well I finally went to urgent, only to find the doctor couldn't do a damn thing for me. I am beginning to feel that is the purpose of all of this. To get patients to be sent to a specialist. It would appear they seem to make things out to catastrophic when it is a Damn ear for crying out loud. Are all your doctors and specialist just out of medical school. What happened to the Primary care doctor that had the ability to handle things like an ear. I appears that all they can tell you that something is very wrong and you need to see a specialist over an over again. My first year with Kaiser was wonderful but the second year is something to be desired. I have waited and have been prescribed medications that are not doing anything, I am made to feel there is something that is catastrophic when will this end. Are your doctors not trained in more that just talking to you when have an appointment for your yearly exam. What has happened to the medical field that everything has to done by a specialist? I am sure nothing will come of this complaint but you can be darn sure I will be looking at other options next year. I have spend so much on this one issue than I think I spent all of last year and still no one can help. So am sure that when I do see someone it will cost so much that I won't be able to pay for it. I am sure you really don't care. User's recommendation: Don't go here!
