Incompetent service rip-offs
1
Brought our diesel Dodge RAM 250 in for engine light and rough idle. Dealership had it for 7 days. Never given any positive news BUT estimate continued to climb. Finally on the 7th day we're told we can pick up the truck "but it doesn't run much better". Total cost = $1800.00 !!!!! Then they advised us that they found GASOLINE in the tank !!! Really ???? They "test drove" the truck almost 140 miles and changed $800.00 worth of parts before they decided to check the fuel ? We were told they followed Dodge's repair protocol !!! Really ???? How about hire a competent mechanic ??? They told the BBB that WE insisted on driving the truck when it was their "service advisor" who suggested continually adding diesel fuel to "dilute" the gasoline. They also reported that we were given an estimate to drain the tank and flush the lines. NOT TRUE.
