ALMOST EVERY STORY I READ HAS THE SAME,GAS LEAKS,TAKEN THE MONEY BUT NOT PERFORMED THE SERVICE,PROMISES A CONTRACT ON "BID", MEETING, BUT YOU NEVER GET ONE! I AM WRITING THE FTC, TO SEE IF THEY WILL DO WHAT THE IOWA ATTORNEY GENERAL WON'T DO! MAKE THEM FOLLOW THE LAW! they CLAIM QUALITY AND HONEST WORK,(WHAT A JOKE!), ALSO THEY ARE DEVOTEDTO THE "COMFORT OF YOUR HOME', NO THEY HAVE GROWN ACCUSTOMED TO THAT "WAD" OF CASH IN HIS FRONT POCKET, AND THE SEVERELY WEAK HOME OWNER PROTECTION LAWS! IOWA LAWS MAKE IT A "SCAMMERS" PARADISE!" Original review posted by user Jul 13, 2018 BACK ON 10-24-17, in Ogden, Iowa. a Company out of Des Moines Iowa, Named Above was hired to install Complete HVAC Unit in a House, That had never had one to begin with! It had a in The Wall 15,000, BTU A/C Unit, and a Boiler unit for Heat, Well They Installed, BUT NEVER FINISHED A BRYANT 60,000 BU FURANCE, AND A 2 1/2 TON, 14.5 SEER A/C unit. well they installed it THROUGH A CLOSET IN THE BASEMENT,THEY NEVER CHARGED THE A/C UNIT, SO WE HAD TO GO BACK OUT AND BUY ,YET ANOTHER 15,000 BTU A/C UNIT! WE CALLED THE HEALTH DEPT, BECAUSE HERE IN IOWA THING'S ARE *** BACKWARDS, and That is Who Licensed these Guy's!, the guy came out from the health dept., and saw the following, they "forgot" to install a vent cover, the APRILAIRE Humidistat unit was not even hooked up, the ducts are 8 inches around, with a 1/4 horse power blower motor, Thus we ONLY GET ANY AIR HOT OR COLD,TO ONLY ONE ROOM! The Unit had two Gas Leaks which I have Read Other Homeowners With That Same complaint, In Short The wall They Knocked down, "The Closet", Was a Load-Bearing Wall, It's Going to Cost Close To $10,000 Just to Jack The House Back Up, to Completely Replace the Complete area ,Again The "Closet", but before "we" discovered the Gas Leaks the unit was on for about 2 Hours, and it would come on and off all by itself, it wasn't calling for either cooling or heat, even if you took the Thermostat out, It would STILL DO IT! I am Handicapped, and I am on Oxygen and need to be in a climate controlled area at all Times, They Gt Their $15,000 cash, because a "Phil" who came out here to Do The "Bid", Told me That's how he would Have to do it, to save me, a Couple Thousand, so they got the whole thing, and I have a BRYANT PAPER WEIGHT, and His "Story", is so unbelievable, especially When You Read "Other" Homeowners Horror Stories as Well! and as For Legal HELP, THIS STATE HAS THE WEAKEST CONSUMER LAWS I HAVE EVER SEEN, ANY OTHER STATE, AND THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ARRESTED, AND FORCED TO RETURN OUR MONEY,AND PAY FOR THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSED THE HOUSE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE!
