How to steal money from people!

1

This company lures people in for a free trial whereby you pay shipping only. The small print says you are automatically signed up for regular monthly shipments of the product at a considerably higher amount (about $160.00 Canadian for a half ounce bottle). They allow you 14 calendar days FROM THE DATE IT WAS ORDERED regardless of how long it takes to arrive at your home. My wife ordered 2 products which both arrived with maybe 2 days left in the trial period and of course no skin products are going to show results in 48 hours. Regardless, she wasn't aware of the small print advising she would be billed monthly and continuously until she cancelled. We cancelled both products immediately and even though we explained the late arrival of their delivery we were given no leniency and offered a measly 35% refund of the amount we paid. The employee who took our call said we should have called the company to ask for an extension of the trial period when it took so long to ship to Canada! We did not see them advising this in their terms and conditions either. Beware!!!!
