Have rented trucks from penske for the last twenty years and never had a problem, till the last time

I signed out a truck like i always do was told by penske rep no need to do a walk around truck was in bad condition (scratches and small dents all over the cab and box ) just make sure the tank was full when returned ,which it was. I returned truck next day. Four weeks later I get a call from rep wanting to know about damage on front top right cab. (was later sent a bill for 435 dollars) I explained to rep I knew nothing about any damage.Also asked rep if he checked truck out upon my returning it he said no.I asked rep why are you contacting me 4 weeks after I had returned truck his response was he got a call from his boss at Penske. Keep in mind this truck was rented out a few times after I had returned it. the real problem started after I was told Penske would take care of the damage being that proper procedure was not carried out by leasing agent.Several phone calls later and no return calls my name is now with a collection agency. My opion is this is no way to treat a loyal customer of more than 20 years.I THINK I HEAR U-HAUL CALLING
